Privacy policy / Effective August 16, 2026
YOUR DATA.
NO TRADE.
Scope
This policy explains how Global Risqué collects, uses, discloses and retains personal information through globalrisque.com, documentary pitches, casting inquiries, preorders and related correspondence.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, location, professional role, portfolio or preview links, story information, availability and correspondence. Casting inquiries may include information about heritage or community connection. Do not submit identification documents, obscene photographs, confidential source material or original reporting files through the website.
Preorders and payments
Stripe processes preorder payments and collects the payment, billing and transaction information required for checkout. Global Risqué does not receive or store your complete payment-card number. Stripe processes information under its own privacy policy and contractual obligations.
How we use information
We use personal information to review pitches and casting inquiries, communicate with contributors and customers, administer preorders and refunds, prevent abuse, protect the website, comply with legal obligations and operate Global Risqué. Casting information is used only to evaluate and manage potential editorial participation unless you authorize another use.
Service providers
We disclose information only as needed to service providers that perform work for us, including Resend for form-delivery email, Stripe for payments and the providers that host and secure the website. These providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser information and security logs. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or the integrity of the service.
No sale or targeted advertising
Global Risqué does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or use it for targeted advertising.
Retention
Unaccepted pitches and casting inquiries are ordinarily deleted within 24 months. We may retain accepted-submission records, contracts, transaction records and necessary correspondence for the duration of the relationship and afterward as required for accounting, legal, rights-management, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes.
Your choices and rights
You may ask whether we hold your personal information and request access, correction or deletion by emailing editor@globalrisque.com. You may also withdraw consent to future processing of casting information. We will verify requests and respond as required by applicable law. Certain records may be retained when legally permitted or required.
Security and changes
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
